Take a Hike Day – Wisdom of the Woods

On August 10, 2024, Ontario Parks Discovery staff are encouraging visitors to explore our provincial park system by taking a hike.

In celebration of Take a Hike Day, join park naturalists on a hike to one of the most special places in Ontario: Awenda’s old-growth forest. The forest holds many treasures to explore; it is not only full of history but also rich in life. Hike along and uncover the layers of the past as we head off the beaten path.
